LB Broth (Lennox) is an Industry standard media. available in ready-to-use 500mL bottle. It provides an abundance of peptides and peptones, vitamins and trace elements and is ideal for cultures requiring salt-sensitive antibiotics such as Zeocin. Media formulation (g/L) includes Casein Hydrolysate (tryptone) 10,Yeast Extract 5,NaCl 5. Solid medium contains 15 g bacteriologiocal agar per litre.
