HBS (HEPES Buffered Saline)
20mM HEPES in a calcium-free phosphate buffered saline, with phenol red.
HBS is an isotonic saline buffered with HEPES. It is a routinely used buffer in cell culture, enzymology, chromatography and in general biochemistry.
